Come say hello to your fellow players and drop a line here so others can get to know you and find out the best ways to contact you, as well as see who you are bringing in! (Current players are also encouraged to use this post to let us know about new characters.)

Don't forget to check out this month's important dates for a peek at what the coming month is going to look like. It will continue to be updated as more dates solidify behind the scenes, especially regarding May's event(s).

Our in-character intro log will be going up May 1st after midnight EST; keep an eye on our mod plurk (thepines) for that as well as all future announcements.

His canon point is from Season 7, episode 7, where's he snuck inside a truck to kill a certain someone. He won't have any false memories, just his vague canon memories listed here, so when he shows up he'll be this slightly feral teenager. But he'll get better when he starts getting his other memories back . . . sort of.

HEY PINECONES HOW U DOIN'

This is Jeeps, current player of that Steve Rogers fella now bringing you Eleanor Shellstrop of a little show called The Good Place! Eleanor was killed in an accident involving a bottle of Lonely Gal margarita mix, a rack of grocery carts and an erectile dysfunction billboard and will be coming to Wayward Pines fresh from the afterlife (which has a lot of frozen yogurt). She wasn't such a great person in life but has been working super hard at being less shitty now that she's dead, for Reasons. Basically, Eleanor is a walking, talking spoiler (The Good Place is very twisty for a half-hour sitcom, and in that vein I personally and strongly advise checking out the first season on Hulu or NBC before I ruin everything for you).



I'm really excited to have her here and to build some false memories because she's probably gonna remember being a better person than she really was.

hi everyone! i'm tona (abiosis or tona #8599 on discord) and i'm bringing dutch from killjoys, a syfy show about bounty hunters in space, found family, creepy aliens, politics and revolution. but mostly bounty hunters and found family.



dutch is.... basically black widow in space, really, only with a british accent. she was trained in a royal harem to be a dancer and assassin (the second part was extracurricular, but not voluntary) and ran away the night of her wedding to become a killjoy instead, aka a mercenary. she likes badassery, alcohol, agency and sex, and doesn't like emotional vulnerability or people trying to control her, so this'll be fun.

she doesn't have any fake memories yet, but i'd love to hash out things for her to remember when more of her memories come back!

for the majority of you who know who she is: she's basically fresh off pylea, she's had like ~5 episodes of canon at her current canonpoint, so buckle up.

for those who don't: fred just spent five years in a hell dimension living alone in a cave, hiding from certain death, and has been back in los angeles for all of three or four episodes at most at her canonpoint.

she is sweet and brilliant and you need to picture everything she says with the cutest fuckin' texan accent. she's good at physics and inventing and hiding in tiny crevices so people don't see her and having mental breakdowns and talking your ear off and making your eyes glaze over and

basically, this is gonna be fun. (and i'm sorry)



second is katniss everdeen, you know who she is. she's from the end of catching fire (when she passes out after shooting the dome) and she's gonna be pretty sure this is some kind of capitol trick, whoops.

for those who don't: she's good at archery and staying alive. she's bad at basically everything else. like people, and nudity and anything that isn't about staying alive in some capacity. i'm sorry to anyone who deals with her without peeta there as a buffer.

first up is peeta mellark, who i'll be playing from some nebulous point between "catching fire" and "mockingjay", not long before his brain is hijacked. if you're somehow unfamiliar with the hunger games, he's from a terrible dystopian world that runs annual lord-of-the-fly-themed competitions. he's also very polite and a hopeless romantic. his username is kneaded!


second is david haller from the show "legion", which is sort of about x-men but not really. i'll be playing it like he's from an alternate universe that's vaguely related to the x-men films. i'll avoid details here because spoilers, but let me know if you play a mutant and want to compare universes. generally speaking: he's spent most of his life in psychiatric wards and is only just getting used to his abilities, so he's a little extra, but he's a pretty nice guy.

david's canon contains a lot of touchy subjects. he's also a psychic. i've set up a permissions post here where you can opt-out of specific material or tags in general, or opt-in to mind-reading shenanigans.

Izzy is a Shadowhunter/nephilim in her world and sister to Alec Lightwood, who is already in game! Unlike her brother she is not a grumpy cat and she fabulously social. In fact, she loves sticking out and being a distraction...hence the stilettos, leather, bright colors, and general fashion choices that she makes! See above for an example of Iz getting ready for dressup time! Also like Alec, she is covered in a lot of what appear to be tattoos, Lightwood gang? Maaaaaybe!

I'm open to any and all sorts of CR and I am still formulating her false memories, so am open to plotting and building stuff of any and all sort. What she remembers right now is pretty basic her name & family, skills, that she was being put on trial, etc!

Hello fellow Pinesfolk, it's Amy here, current player of Rogue theycalledmeacurse from the X-Men movieverse, bringing to you Elena Gilbert from The Vampire Diaries! You've probably seen her castmates around town, including Katherine, who looks just like Elena. Which brings me to--

If you're not familiar with TVD, it's a crazy show with vampires and werewolves and witches and doppelgangers, ie Elena and Katherine. It's canon that people mistake them for each other, so please feel free to do the thing in Pines. They've impersonated each other before and it'll definitely happen again.

SO ELENA. Super loyal friend who regularly risks her life for loved ones. Formerly a vampire but recently took the Cure for Vampirism and is human again! The show is crazy, we've been over this. And after turning human and planning the perfect human life with Damon (marriage, kids, a kickass medical career), she got put into a magical coma.


Yeah, you read that right. Magical. Coma.

Elena's coming into Pines with some fake memories of being married to Stefan and being Katherine's sister, so there's a lot of drama and sneaking around in her future, since she's canon in love with Damon. Who wants to popcorn at the House of Salvatore Drama?

ANYWAY hi hello I am Marie and I join you with one (1) Rey nolastname, of Star Wars fame! Y'know that little indie franchise no one ever talks about or has strong opinions on ever. For the canonblind, Rey is a scavenger who's grown up on a desolate, desert planet in a largely solitary fashion. She's bad with people and good with droids and mostly just wants to be left alone. So this place is going to be absolutely ideal. For the non-canonblind, she's come in from just after she's seen Kylo Ren stab his dear old dad in the chest. Fun times.
