WELCOME TO THE PINES!


And welcome to our monthly out-of-character intro post. Come say hello to your fellow players and drop a line here so others can get to know you and find out the best ways to contact you, as well as see who you are bringing in! (Current players are also encouraged to use this post to let us know about new characters.)

Don't forget to check out this month's important dates for a peek at what the coming month is going to look like. It will continue to be updated as more dates solidify behind the scenes, especially regarding May's event(s).

Our in-character intro log will be going up May 1st after midnight EST; keep an eye on our mod plurk (thepines) for that as well as all future announcements.

We should work on false memories.

I need to put his on his post. Basically his false memories are Robert and Maryse being angry over Alec dating Magnus so they got married, had a whirlwind honeymoon, and went on a road trip to find somewhere to settle down.

Maybe he told Izzy about the wonderful town (and the sister in law cottage) and she decided to get away from Maryse?

Now I have an excuse to load more brotherly Alec icons.

I need to create my post so that I have more than just a placeholder tbh. But I do like the idea that he told Izzy/they were in contact. I think I can combine Izzy's false reason for moving as getting away from Maryse and incorporate her trial because it's one of her real memories, so having something to conflict with it might be cool tbh. If I can work it out with someone/get some others involved or something!

Dude me too! I have the urge to redo my icons more often than I should!

Alec's going to have conflicts because he remembers demons and fighting in a war. He'll remember something bad happening to Izzy but she doesn't know about it. Izzy having a different set of memories combined with the false ones will make him really question what's right.

That'll make for some innnnnnnteresting confusion, though! When I start poking at her remembering dead bodies/autopsies that'll be real fun! lol They're definitely going to be looking forward to some strange conversatinos!

It'll be even more interesting when his Izzy is a girl who likes to shop and has no interest in forensics. She might have an interest in being a serial killer though...
