This is an out-of-character intro post. Come say hello to your fellow players and drop a line here so people can get to know you and find out the best ways to contact you, as well as see who you are bringing in!

Don't forget to check out this month's important dates for a peek at what the first month is going to look like. They'll be updated more dates solidify behind the scenes, especially regarding February's event(s).

Hi, I'm Carolyn, and I'm playing the extremely perky Dr. Emily Grey from Red vs Blue. She is a normal baseline human but also a genius polymath, who just came from being a military surgeon in a really brutal 26th century civil war. She is friendly and helpful and endlessly cheerful because the war pretty much broke her and the knob's stuck on "happy." She's also perfectly willing to torture people for information...but only bad people. The likelihood she will adapt to the 90s by wearing medium-wash mom jeans is high.

god, i haven't watched rvb in so very, very, very long that i am unfamiliar with emily, but i love her already just from how you've described her.

She's supporting cast in S12 & S13. I'm more of a Blood Gulch gal myself, but the Chorus Trilogy (S11-S13) is solid and Emily is an unending, unsettling delight.

I know sweet fuckall about Jojo's, so her cheerfully oblivious reactions should be quite authentic.

i got as far as like part of the way through s5??? maybe s4. i remember it was halo 2 anyway. but blood gulch is and always will be classic.

H2 was uh I wanna say S3-S5 plus some of the Freelancer miniseries? I'm actually bigger into Halo than RvB tbh, but I really wanted to play Emily and she's a great fit for this setting.

Her life has been nothing but bad news for years, she'll deal.

Emily's great vs people who are full of themselves because she just doesn't care. She won't try to burst their bubble, but other people's arrogance just bounces right off her.

I too am incredibly out of date with RvB (I think I stopped at s5?) but 10K here needs CR with her like burning. :D folks who have adjusted to ongoing war and trauma by adapting their own crazy is his jam, and by his jam I mean basically the rule of thumb for survival where he's from!

RvB is very YMMV, not gonna lie. The characters do tend to handle RP settings pretty well because they're mostly broken by their horrible lives so they're just like "oh look, FML yet again."
