WELCOME TO THE PINES!

And welcome to our monthly out-of-character intro post. Come say hello to your fellow players and drop a line here so others can get to know you and find out the best ways to contact you, as well as see who you are bringing in! (Current players are also encouraged to use this post to let us know about new characters.)

Don't forget to check out this month's important dates for a peek at what the coming month is going to look like. It will continue to be updated as more dates solidify behind the scenes, especially regarding June's event(s).

Our in-character intro log will be going up June 1st after midnight EST; keep an eye on our mod plurk (thepines) for that as well as all future announcements.

Hello hello Pines! I bring you this tiny ray of sunshine Iris Amicitia! From the FFXV game. Iris is Gladiolus’s brother, so she was raised in a family of warriors who put their duty and loyalty before everything else, and it shows. She’s always trained very hard and has had a safety net around her so she’s basically unafraid of most things and will jump into battle without giving it much thought if she has to. And she’s always determined to keep a happy attitude and an optimistic view in life.

I don't have very specific plans for her yet, she's simply going to get a lay of the land and do some tourism (she LOVES getting to know new places and investigating a bit). She's a curious girl so she will probably end up sticking her nose where it doesn't belong. And eventually she may like to take a part time job somewhere!

I'm Tilly, I play Aranea here! She has a lingerie store and I have pre-emptively been forbidden by our castmates from having Aranea gift Iris inappropriate items so it's totally safe to tag with me.

BAHAHA sorry Aranea, no lingerie for this one yet BUT she will totally admire a woman with her own business and just Aranea's badass-ness in general tbh so expect her to just gravitate around her :>

Helloooo, welcome to the game! I'm Shira, and NGL, I was super excited to see Iris on the reserve list, ahhh. I have Jack from FF Type-0 kicking around who's around the same age and from a similar background (because let's be real, nobody is allowed to have nice things when you're from a FNC game). They're both obnoxious optimists so I predict nothing but good things if they get CR, WHICH I HOPE THEY DO.

Jack does seem like he'd get along super well with Iris! :> I am definitely looking forward to Iris making friends her own age (stop stealing your brother's friends Iris) so this would be perfect!!

Collecting all the FF soldiers is a great hobby, okay, don't let anyone tell you differently, Iris!! ~~Yes, it is, run away and save yourself.~~

If you're looking to kick Iris off with some fake memory CR, we could say they know each other from school! Jack'll be her lame senpai regardless, he's good at that. :')

I'm super okay with that! They can have seen each other at school or something? I think Jack is a little older than Iris so probably not the same class...

YEAH, maybe they knew each other in passing as that person in a higher/lower grade? I'm all for livin' the high school life. :') Plus, he was "adopted" by Nyx so if Iris ends up having fake CR or otherwise with him as well, they might have another connection that way!!

YEAH Nyx was actually his babysitter when she was little and she is Determined to be a matchmaker between him and her fake memories dad so they could have definitely met that way! Maybe they had playdates or something :>

Oh my god, ahhhhh, that's too cute. And same with playdates! I like the idea of Jack and Iris being little tiny terrors together, oh no. LET'S DO IT. ♥
