WELCOME TO THE PINES!


And welcome to our monthly out-of-character intro post. Come say hello to your fellow players and drop a line here so others can get to know you and find out the best ways to contact you, as well as see who you are bringing in! (Current players are also encouraged to use this post to let us know about new characters.)

Don't forget to check out this month's important dates for a peek at what the coming month is going to look like. It will continue to be updated as more dates solidify behind the scenes, especially regarding June's event(s).

Our in-character intro log will be going up June 1st after midnight EST; keep an eye on our mod plurk (thepines) for that as well as all future announcements.

His brother is a ghost who polices other ghosts! And sometimes living people who break ghost laws. Clearly.

Yes! Someone in law enforcement probably knows at least of the dude that's always been around but doesn't cause... too much trouble? As for closer friends/acquaintances, there is definitely a lot of possibility! Easiest in would be maybe Cain knew Blake when he was a kid but even more recently they have probably met around town and such — Cain isn't a huge sports fan but he loves indulging people in things that they like to talk about! His modus operandi is basically being charming and open and getting people to talk to him.

I'm totally fine with Blake and Cain knowing each other from around town. What do you think about maybe them being aware of each other as far back as Blake's childhood, but didn't really start talking until recently? They could strike up a friendly conversation at the grocery store occasionally!

Yes, that works rather well! Especially if it was kind of a "growing into talking to the cool adult" thing because I think that'd be cute (since. Roman's gonna be the same age to everyone at like, any point in their memories...).

Yes, who doesn't think that's cool? Maybe Blake would change his mind when he was 60 and much older than this ageless dude that's been around forever, but for now? Pretty darn cool!
