ACTIVITY CHECKHello, Pinecones, and welcome to March's Activity Check! A brief set of guidelines:
( ! ) Our Activity Check closes at 12:01 AM EST on the 14th.
Use the form below to provide us links to your Activity Points for the month. Totaling your Activity Points is optional, but it lets you earn fun rewards or in-game items if you so desire!
Qualifying threads are threads started in the month of the current Activity Check. (Which is to say, the latest full month.) You may use threads from the month prior (eg, February threads in the Activity Check for March), but they will only be worth half points, with fractions rounded up to the next full point.
If you choose to participate in the Activity Rewards system, you are responsible for your own points. The mod team will not be tallying up your points, nor will we be chiming in with any points you may have missed. Mods will keep a rubbing tab of the amount of points you have; if you're not sure, ask one of us and we can check. Information on how to earn points can be found here, but to reiterate:
Points do stack within a proof. If a thread has 25 comments, it receives both the 5+ and 25+ bonuses (35 points total). If on top of that, it's an closed log you made, that bumps it up to 40 points. Now assume that's also the first time you've ever played with that player. Suddenly, that one closed log is worth 50 points. It all adds up pretty nicely.
Characters who were accepted during the most recent application round must check in to confirm that they are here. However, the only points they can receive are the newbie 50 (see the first bullet point above), as threads are tallied for points only once the month is over.
You may link to your thread track in lieu of re-copying and pasting links as long as the thread tracker tracks everything required for the Activity Check (type of proof, date, points earned). If it does not, or if the format is difficult to parse, the mods may require that you re-submit them using our copypasta instead.
Points are cumulative and belong to you as a player rather than your characters individually. This means that if you have three characters, for example, all three characters' points are pooled into one total, and you can purchase any available rewards with that sum for you, for any of your characters, or even for someone else's characters.
A list of the current available rewards can be found on the Activity Rewards page, and you're welcome to redeem your points for rewards at any time!
In order to redeem your Activity Points, consult the copypasta at the bottom of the Activity Rewards page. We won't be redeeming any points here on the AC itself.

- Our Activity Check is check-in only. This means you are not required to submit proofs.
- We have an entirely optional Activity Rewards mechanic to encourage activity in lieu of any sort of minimum requirement. This requires you to submit links to threads + which rewards they qualify for.
- If you do not reply to this post by the time the Activity Check closes, you will be removed from the game. Due to the simplicity of our baseline AC system, we feel that no extra chances are necessary. If you are new, you still need to check in.

VALID PROOFS INCLUDE:
- Finishing every mandatory step on the acceptance copypasta - 50 points (available only to new characters)
- A thread with a player you’ve never threaded with before - 10 points
- An open network post - 10 points
- An open log post - 10 points
- An open top-level on an event post - 10 points
- A closed network/log post - 5 points
- An inbox thread on a character's personal journal - 5 points
- A thread reaching a total of 5+ comments - 5 points
- A thread reaching a total of 25+ comments - 30 points
