This is an out-of-character intro post. Come say hello to your fellow players and drop a line here so people can get to know you and find out the best ways to contact you, as well as see who you are bringing in!

Don't forget to check out this month's important dates for a peek at what the first month is going to look like. They'll be updated as more dates solidify behind the scenes, especially regarding April's event(s).

Our in-character intro log will be going up April 1st after midnight EST, keep an eye on our mod plurk (thepines) for that.

So, I heard you were lacking in the sad, damaged war vet department. Logan fits the bill, but Sam is actually pretty well adjusted! Maybe he can teach some of you a thing or two.

Anyways, hi! I'm Meg, I'm new, and I'm excited to be here. My plurk is over here if you're interested in plotting or hanging out to chat!



The first dude I'm bringing you is this literal ray of sunshine right here: Sam Wilson, Falcon from the MCU, with a canonpoint at the end of Civil War (Steve just broke him out of the Raft). Before he signed on with the Avengers, he was a retired pararescue-turned-councilor working for the VA. He's certified as a EMT too, so I was thinking of having him work at the hospital here in Pines, once he gets past the initial amnesia phase and settled. He can come pick up you crazies in an ambulance, because I'm sure it will be necessary. As far as living arrangements go, he's either going to crash on Steve & Nat's couch for a while, or set up camp in a house across the street for Avengers & pals spillover/crosscanon friends who get picked up along the way. IDK YET. Also, he's not going to be very inundated with false memories, because he's smart enough to keep a low profile and has friends who I know will fill him in on this place and What Not to Do. But I am definitely open to giving him some memories, maybe to kickstart some CR or whatever.




LOGAN ON THE OTHER HAND... lmao he's going to be full of false memories of a life in Pines, because otherwise he would immediately start causing trouble. He was a canon amnesiac anyways, so it will be fun to mess with his memories again because he'll be so pissed off once he eventually learns the truth. Logan (better known as Wolverine) is from the X-Men films, and his canonpoint is at the end of Days of Future Past, after time travel bullshit. I really, really want to shove him into the school, maybe teaching shop/industrial arts if that is something nobody already is doing. So come to me, kids, for all of your false memory shenanigans! He will totally tell you upfront that your birdhouse should be fucking condemned.

OH YEAH, and this is what Logan actually looks like at his canonpoint. His healing factor got partially boned, so he's started to age. Most of my icons are from older movies just because more icons exist from them, so.

Prank wars sound super IC, yes let's :D I'm mostly thinking they could remember that they're half siblings and maybe have some vague positive memories of that. Pietro will probably only have fake memories of Pines for the past couple years, because I'd like him to still be a recent immigrant, but maybe after his mom died someone discovered he had half siblings in the U.S. and shipped him over to live with or near Lorna or something?

ALSO heads up it looks like Cassian Andor is gonna join us in Clan Not-Magneto here and be another of their deadbeat dad's random kids.

Logan is going to be teaching industrial arts at the high school, and he'll have plenty of false memories of a life in pines to keep him from freaking out about all of the weirdness and going on a rampage lmao. He also knew a couple of kids who had fire-related powers at his old school, so he won't think the firebending is weird or anything.

Yo! I'm Meg, and I just apped in Wolverine and Falcon from the Marvel side. Logan has a bunch of false memories (of being the shop teacher at the high school lmao) to keep him placated and out of trouble for now, but he too will eventually be getting in on investigations. Sam is just going to be keeping a low profile until Things start Happening, probably.

If you're interested in coordinating false memories with either of my dudes, I am totally here for that.

Haha, I'm going to pretty much echo what I said to the Azula player, but!! Logan teaches industrial arts at the high school, so I'm down for false memories. He also has (canon) memories of teaching at a different school, where he actually knew a couple of kids with fire powers, so he won't even bat an eye at the firebending thing. He might even be able to help Zuko out somewhat, if he's having control issues.

Also, hi!! I'm Meg, and I'm new here, too. Aside from this guy, I also apped in Falcon from MCU, who is going to be a paramedic. Just in case you set anybody on fire, Zuko.

Hi Jenni!! I've actually seen you around on Lins' plurk, I think. My inroads to comics was Fraction's Hawkeye, and I haven't read a lot involving Pietro at all; but I was so excited to see him on the TDM! I really love mashing up Marvels from different universes lol.

If you'd like to hash out some false memories or something, I'm cool with that. Logan will remember teaching at a different school before, full of kids with powers.

false memory wise, she so far mostly just remembers school and that she's been living alone with her brother for a pretty significant amount of time. but!! azula would so be taking industrial arts, especially if she could occasionally use some bending to move things along. she's pretty focused and a perfectionist, i can see that working out well for that kind of class. ... obv, she probably has her, um, sinister moments. her grandfather and father both were pretty big on industrialisation and Making New War Things Happen, so once those memories come back, that is probably something shining through in some practical aspects of her work. soooo on the one hand, she isn't a very pleasant kid, on the other hand, she's p into it and can probably even kinda respect him as a person? it's rare for her

I LOVE PEPPER so of course there's going to be CR! Sam isn't a big fan of Tony's, but he's not going to be hostile or anything. They kind of came to an understanding, on the Raft. I'm not sure if he's ever actually met Pepper, since they never included her in anything after IM3... :/

But hi, he's an Avenger, too, and he even has Starktech that he was allowed to bring into the game! o/ Sam has his wings and also the drone that he named Redwing.

YAY! and... I don't think a lot of the Avengers are big fans of Tony at the moment, but at least some of them don't remember that... maybe. WELL ANYWAY. I don't think they've actually met either. Pepper kind of just... disappeared after IM3 8(. But we can fix that! We will fix that.

Redwing got to come! Aw, that's awesome. Pepper needs to meet the robobirb.

Logan is going to have a ton of false Pines memories to start with. Otherwise, he'd go on a rampage trying to get out of town.
