WELCOME TO THE PINES!


And welcome to our monthly out-of-character intro post. Come say hello to your fellow players and drop a line here so others can get to know you and find out the best ways to contact you, as well as see who you are bringing in! (Current players are also encouraged to use this post to let us know about new characters.)

Don't forget to check out this month's important dates for a peek at what the coming month is going to look like. It will continue to be updated as more dates solidify behind the scenes.

Our in-character intro log will be going up July 1st after midnight EST; keep an eye on our mod plurk (thepines) for that as well as all future announcements.

The only fake memories I actually have with castmates is being friends with Aranea and attending their wedding, and some heartbreaking stuff with Crowe about serving with her parents and basically seeing them die, so I guess there's that, so unless something comes up that we wanna do we'll be starting kinda CR fresh.

Although it's to be noted that he only ever visits Go Ask Alice to flirt with bother Cassian (or side with Cassian against Jefferson's occasional bad menu choices more like) so Nyx would be a familiar voice?

The previous Ignis was indeed at their wedding, I am ...unsure how that would translate here, but it makes sense for him to have a similar memory, so.

Ignis did the military thing, does Nyx attend the vets group?

AND FINALLY lmao Ignis tends to like Jefferson's choices because they are exactly as fussy as one another, so THAT'LL BE INTERESTING.

To my knowledge previous fake memories disappear within a week of someone leaving so Nyx isn't going to remember him being there unless you decide you want to add it, too. We can always roll with something different if you and Emily want to hash out something with Nyx?

He does, technically, not that he ever actually talks. Not that anyone ever actually talks. He'd come out of it with PTSD that is a bit on the nose to his actual memories, too. So...hi. Nyx doesn't sleep much either 8Da

Look, Nyx had no money on the hot chocolate argument until Cassian called him, and Cassian feeds him so his loyalty is secured. It's very easy to endear yourself to this Glaive. Also it's probably a good thing Ignis can never see him, because Nyx never fits in with the aesthetic at the shop. Jeans, plaid...absolutely a terrible 90s dad wardrobe. It's awful.
