WELCOME TO THE PINES!


This is an out-of-character intro post. Come say hello to your fellow players and drop a line here so people can get to know you and find out the best ways to contact you, as well as see who you are bringing in!

Don't forget to check out this month's important dates for a peek at what the first month is going to look like. They'll be updated as more dates solidify behind the scenes, especially regarding March's event(s).

Our in-character intro log will be going up some time after midnight EST, keep an eye on our mod plurk (thepines) for that.

hellllo! i'm laura and i'm bringing caroline forbes from the vampire diaries. she's currently from the last episode of season five so she's an ex-cheerleader-party-planning-control-freak-vampire-college-student. or at least, she was when she was back home, not that she remembers that.

she's still a vampire and she won't remember that immediately. oh boy. and i'm hoping she'll be making this face a lot:

Hey guys! I'm Andrea and I'm dragging bringing in Skye from Agents of SHIELD. I decided to bring her in from an earlier canon point so she's still somewhat untouched by all the bad things that will happen to her. If you're not canon familiar basically, Skye is a hacker activist turned into SHIELD agent. SHIELD more or less protects the people of Earth from all the crazy alien stuff that has had the tendency lately to invade their planet.

Hi everyone! I'm Adelai, and I'm bringing the protagonist of Kim Harrison's Hollows series, witchborn demon (...it's complicated) Rachel Morgan. She's coming from right after the fifth book For A Few Demons More, aka the one where she inadvertently caused a master vampire to be freed from jail which got a hit put out on her vampire boyfriend and she basically tried to kill herself out of grief by letting a sentient curse into her body. And then she turned 27 the next day. Happy birthday Rachel.

Anyway, for the unfamiliar she's a witch who is an independent PI/bounty hunter/bodyguard (the term she uses is 'runner') and while she wears a lot of leather and seems kind of trashy and unorganized, she's good at her job and, despite the demon thing she doesn't actually know about yet, generally a very good person. She never uses her powers to hurt unless it's the absoulte last resort and even then she'd just prefer to physically kick your butt. She does have one power that I think requires some persmission (the ability to see auras, which she won't do right away anyway since she's forgotten she's a witch) which you can do here.

Hey there, Laura! Erin here, and we were in Amat together, if you might recall. I played Malia from Teen Wolf there and more notably have her here. I brought in Katherine (who is from Season 3, Episode 4; so just a little behind compared to everyone else) this month. I'm super excited that you're here, and to have all the TVD shenanigans and super happy fun times for all!! :D

As my plans currently stand, Katherine will be impersonating Elena for however long that can last. Not even on purpose: one of her memories is that she should be acting as if she's this ~Elena Gilbert~. So. That'll be...fun.

Hello! My name's Trap, and I'll be playing the Gucci-wearing, Sailor Moon-loving, egocentric mangaka Rohan Kishibe from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure! He's incredibly rude and thinks he's better than everyone else, but somewhere deep down, he's... not the worst? That's the nicest thing I can say about him, probably. He's everything you'd expect from the eccentric artist character and then some. I apologize for him in advance.

Hi, all! I'm Jae, and I'll be playing Izumi from World Trigger. Lauded as a bullet genius, he's a 17-year-old high school student with a one-track mind who beats aliens up for a living. He loves fried food, mandarins, and blowing things up. Not a lot bothers him – in fact, he's quite the optimist! – but that doesn't stop him from being proud or unapologetically blunt, either. The teenage apathy toward nonessential matters is strong in this one.

Hello hello!! I'm always interested in tossing Jiaying at vampires because she's.... technically one by definition but is actually just inhuman. (Life force absorption, longevity, and accelerated healing. Fun stuff)

But yes I'm excite to toss them at each other. :33 Jiaying's currently a counselor in The Pines if Caroline might be interested in that for CR building purposes.

essentially, he's an angry fellow without a mouth that has been alive for a really long time. but don't worry, he's recently learned how to write, and will gladly tell anyone he meets all about how annoyed he is via passive aggressive post it notes! he makes a great roommate, i promise. being mouthless he can't even eat your leftovers (although he may throw them on the floor just out of spite).
