ACTIVITY CHECK

Hello, Pinecones, and welcome to May's Activity Check! A brief set of guidelines:

• Our Activity Check is check-in only. This means you are not required to submit proofs.
  
  
• We have an entirely optional Activity Rewards mechanic to encourage activity in lieu of any sort of minimum requirement. This requires you to submit links to threads + which rewards they qualify for.
  
  
• If you do not reply to this post by the time the Activity Check closes, you will be removed from the game. Due to the simplicity of our baseline AC system, we feel that no extra chances are necessary. If you are new, you still need to check in.

earning activity points

Use the form below to provide us links to your Activity Points for the month. Totaling your Activity Points is optional, but it lets you earn fun rewards or in-game items if you so desire!

Qualifying comments are comments made in the month of the current Activity Check (which is to say, the latest full month), regardless of thread start date.

If you choose to participate in the Activity Rewards system, you are responsible for your own points. The mod team will be double checking math, but they are not responsible for missed points. Mods will keep a rubbing tab of the amount of points you have; if you're not sure, ask one of us and we can check. Information on how to earn points can be found here, but to reiterate:

VALID PROOFS INCLUDE:

• Finishing every mandatory step on the acceptance copypasta - 50 points (available only to new characters; consists of joining all communities and replying to the taken and player contact pages)
  
• A thread with a player you’ve never threaded with before - 10 points
  
• An open network post - 10 points
  
• An open log post - 10 points
  
• An open top-level on an event post - 10 points
  
• A closed network/log post - 5 points
  
• A pinesnet/ic inbox thread - 1 point per comment
  
• A pineslog thread - 2 points per comment

Characters who were accepted during the most recent application round must check in to confirm that they are here. However, the only points they can receive are the newbie 50 (see the first bullet point above), as threads are tallied for points only once the month is over.

You may link to your thread track in lieu of re-copying and pasting links as long as the thread tracker tracks everything required for the Activity Check (type of proof, date, points earned). If it does not, or if the format is difficult to parse, the mods may require that you re-submit them using our copypasta instead.

redeeming activity points

Points are cumulative and belong to you as a player rather than your characters individually. This means that if you have three characters, for example, all three characters' points are pooled into one total, and you can purchase any available rewards with that sum for you, for any of your characters, or even for someone else's characters.

A list of the current available rewards can be found on the Activity Rewards page, and you're welcome to redeem your points for rewards at any time!

In order to redeem your Activity Points, consult the copypasta at the bottom of the Activity Rewards page. We won't be redeeming any points here on the AC itself.

I'll allow the April points this time, but for future reference: We need a link to your last points total change, either the last AC you tabulated for points or any item requests you've made. Also, points can only be counted in the month they were made, so April points can only be tabulated in April. Sorry if there's been any confusion!

ah okay I didn't see any note about point counts only being valid in the AC count for that month in any of the AC/faq pages so I'm sorry for the presumption! will keep this in mind for all future check-ins - thanks!! ♥♥
