WELCOME TO THE PINES!


And welcome to our monthly out-of-character intro post. Come say hello to your fellow players and drop a line here so others can get to know you and find out the best ways to contact you, as well as see who you are bringing in! (Current players are also encouraged to use this post to let us know about new characters.)

Don't forget to check out this month's important dates for a peek at what the coming month is going to look like. It will continue to be updated as more dates solidify behind the scenes, especially regarding June's event(s).

Our in-character intro log will be going up June 1st after midnight EST; keep an eye on our mod plurk (thepines) for that as well as all future announcements.

i'm so happy thor still got stuck in an airport in the tv show (i will ascribe to your head canon as well obviously), this is so very important to me honestly, i need to believe it happened the same way. (i need to go back and read these books again i honestly love them so much)

Hi Pinecones! I'm Mary Beth (your resident Emma Swan) bringing in another a magical lady from the same series. This is Tinker Bell from Once Upon A Time. For anyone who's canon familiar, she's coming before she decides to work with the Neverland crew and after years of living in Neverland. Her memories will initially be a balance of Pines and her real life.

She'll be partnering with Izzy Lightwood to run the Wayward Boutique, and working as a cheerleading coach at the high school. I'm open to all kinds of CR with her, and any fake memories you might be interested in. For a little Pines background, she believes she grew up in this town and that "Tink" is a nickname.

hello!! my name is k and i am brand new to the pines and excited to be here. i am bringing in clarke griffin from the 100! she was born in space and thrown into post apocalyptic Earth where she was constantly trying to survive and keep her people safe being of the leaders and the medic of the group once they are on the ground.

that gif is probably one of the rare instances you will probably see her smile because while she can be friendly, she is way too serious for her own good and can be pretty closed off at first. she has some trust issues but she's loyal and stubborn to a fault while being pretty selfless when it comes to protecting her people.

clarke will be coming in from towards the end of 1x13!! where she similarly woke up in a scenario of being somewhere she had no clue where she was, locked in a room being monitored but instead of mount weather, she will end up in pines being suspicious of everything and trying to figure out what is even going on.

i haven't done much at the moment with developing any false memories but i am open to any plotting! feel free to add me on plurk (throned) and/or discord (throned#1179) if you need to contact me! i'm looking forward to playing with everyone! ♥

Yesss that'd be rad. Pietro is Cassian's little brother, so they could have met that way maybe? He's pretty intensely anti-authority and doesn't have any anti-authority friends, so I can see him latching on to Anders. Maybe he comes by the flower shop occasionally to complain about some cop being friends with his sister. 8[

YEAH, maybe they knew each other in passing as that person in a higher/lower grade? I'm all for livin' the high school life. :') Plus, he was "adopted" by Nyx so if Iris ends up having fake CR or otherwise with him as well, they might have another connection that way!!

YEAH Nyx was actually his babysitter when she was little and she is Determined to be a matchmaker between him and her fake memories dad so they could have definitely met that way! Maybe they had playdates or something :>

it took me a couple days but pHEW IM HERE HI!

so its zelly again, bringing her second troublemaking teen to the game (bc lbr, we all need more of those around, right?) ... this time with peter parker from the amazing spider-man franchise. he's very much like every spider-man ever made, same origin story, same dumb jokes, same charm ... um. but he's also a hipster and he enjoys Cool things like skateboarding and photography.

thing is, he'll be coming into pines with practically zero of his memories. c: abilities and skills will all be intact but ehehehe what are spider powers??? why is he the way he is??? it'll be a blast!
