Does someone have a car? If so, they could probably transport it relatively unnoticed, especially with help from a spell making it look un-corpselike (though it's still pretty shady to lug a fake corpse around). As for the cops, it's possible, but it will have to seem a) urgent, and b) like an accident, or else people are going to Get In Trouble.
