that all sounds 100% great, and alistair himself would be chattering like a nuisance if klaus weren't. i feel like alistair did leave that house aware that there was nothing he or his services could do for the house's greatest blight (klaus) but people like zevran have taught him to at least try to give people more than one single chance before solidly judging them, so at least there's that.
