Perhaps they can be friendly/insufferable to each other?
(I'm actually very much familiar with Peter as a lifelong comics Spidey fan and this idea delights me.)
Also for lols, he's got a canonical thing about spiders... while a spider entity has continually stuck around him so like. Should be fun.
